Here is what i think , the 3030 is a 4 Cylinder ,
and i read somewhere , bota is trying to change over to the more
efficint 3 cylinder smoother set up like deere uses..
are the new line 3 or 4 cylinders?

Ahhh , after rereading you first message i see there a 3 cylinder..
I bet thats what there doing is trying phase out the 4 cylinder
line up in the end. .

I don't believe Kubota is trying to phase out the 4 cylinder. They are putting the 3cyl in the smaller B series ( B2320, B2620 and the B2920 ) and They are keeping the 4 cyl in the larger B series ( B7800 and B3030 )
B2920 is 3cyl 29hp Weight 1554lbs
B7800 is 4cyl 30hp weight 1741lbs
B3030 is 4cyl 30hp weight 1852lbs

Loader Difference
Smaller B Series LA364 is 952lbs at the pivot pin
Larger B Series LA403 is 1091lbs at the pivot pin

I think there is too many models. I wish Kubota would narrow it down alittle. They want to have a tractor to fit anyones needs.

Thanks just picked it up. I agree there is way too many models! We get calls all the time for price of around 30hp tractor. Well there is B2920,B7800,B3030,L2800,L3400DT,L3400HST,L3240DT,L 3240GST or the L3240HST! Then what tires,loader,backhoe,load tires,what other attachments?
There is just too many models.

I got a price of $31,700 + tax for a new L39 . that is with standard 18 inch pin on bucket. is that good.

but i wont more stuff. I want a new L39 with front hydraulics for grapple
quicktach for the hoe with 12 and 24 inch bucket. and rear hydraulics
for top and tilt. I think i am going to use a machanical thumb. so i dont think i need AUX hydraulics for the hoe. what can you do?
