NICE! just what we love to see and even better with a new member and their first post!! welcome to the M.U! as you can tell the L39 is generating lots of interest on this board - with your help you can convert us all to the L39!!

A grapple looks like its manadatory - do you have the thumb as well for the hoe?

No Thumb. Would of liked one but quite expensive. Figured the front Hyd.and grapple would suffice. So far so good. I did get a tooth bar for the FEL bucket and 2 QAbuckets for the BH 12 and 24in. I have about 150 hrs. on it. Haven't been doing much work this winter. Looking forward to spring.

How do you like the quicktach buckets for the hoe.
are thay easy to change. do you think it looses any dig force,
rather than pin on bucket. i was thinking of doing the same thing
when i get one , a 12 and 24 bucket.

QA Buckets are nice. It literally takes a minute or so to change buckets. If it weren't for the pin you wouldn't ever have to leave the seat. If someone else is around you just curl the bucket to relieve any pin pressure, pull the pin, drop the bucket, line up the arm with the new bucket, reverse the process of dropping the bucket to pick up the new one and put the pin in.

Not sure about loosing digging force because I don't have anything to compare it to. I doubt you lose much. I have about 75 hrs on the BH and haven't ran into a condition yet that it couldn't handle.
