Obviously, anyone wishing to transport their L39 legally on a trailer should not fill their tires beyond the net weight capability of their trailer (less trailered accessories, tools, chains and binders, of course).

I can't really get legal the way my set up is,.. My trailer is just too short to make axle weights legal. Overall weights are no problem. I have a Bri-Mar 18 ft at 12,000GVW trailer,, A one ton Dodge to pull it. I have a Kubota L48 with factory extra's such as mechanical hoe quick attach and a locally made cab pieces that in themselves are quite heavy with the large pieces of glass. THe tractor as it sits goes 8800. Get my lard butt on it and it probably tops 10,000 pounds. Trailer, with a huge steel tool box loaded to the brim goes 13100. SO, this is enough tongue weight for me. I really need 26 to 30 ft bumper pull to get totally legal,

If I were as rich as you Larry, there is no question about it: I'd have a 14K (or better) 20-22 ft gooseneck!

You have the room to store it and you have the truck to pull it! Nuf said!!!

RICH AS ME?
If I was half as rich as me as you claim Dougster,, I would burn my money and still spend yours... You wouldn't want to see how much of a property value hit we just took. Can you believe this whole property is only worth 275 thousand now, but they still tax us at 8800 per year..

Methinks you doth protest too much! We both know your amazing lakefront resort is worth many, many times that amount. If you truly think it's only worth $275,000 I'll be there tonight with a down payment check and a P&S agreement!!!

Your taxes are high, but so is the real property value. As a true percentage of actual market value, you are paying way less than moi!!!

Folks with Kubota TLBs and brand new, tricked-out, 1-ton pick-ups living in palatial lakefront resorts do not know poverty.

The poor old Dougster? He knows poverty!!!

You are so right! I'm foaming the front and liquiding the rear, (7817#) I figure. Also 16" quick with 12" and hoe work lights. Oh yeah bucket blade.I'm excited about my new debt. Maybe I can pay for it?

Not if you have to haul it any great distances...
Oil is now projected to hit $200/BBL...

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

It's a great machine! Can't wait for a full report, including how it compares to the L35 and B21. Just watch those tire fill numbers if you are going to trailer it... unless, of course, you are a cop or have one in the family!

I will do enough and charge enough to justify it for my property, and may make a little on the side.

Paul, I want to fill the niche of the unwanted full size BH in someone yard or grounds.
I have another job that is a guessing game too that is where I try to make a living at.

I will be charging one way, or both if beyond 30 miles.
