Default New ZTR

Kevin is the best no doubt about that!
When you get a chance tell us about the ZTR - lots of folks are intetested in that type of equipment as well maybe another thread in the ZTR area but its all good

I will post a new thread in the ZTR section

Just wanted to share my new ZTR expireince. I never had driven one before but really wanted to cut down on my mowing time for roughly 1.8 acres of mowing. I recently upgraded tractors and my new is a Kubota 2620 I did get the drive on MMM w/ the purchase cut w/ it for about 10 minutes and didnt like the feel on my hilly sections of the property. The dealer was nice enough to take it back for a full refund and I used this money towards a Toro Time Cutter Z 5060. This has a 25 horse Koehler (one of the best) engine and is the biggest residential TORO you can buy (up to 3 acres) before getting into the commercial line.

The dealer said the first 20 minutes or so on it seeing I had never driven one before would be quite comical. I told the wife and she insisted I wait for her to be there so she could get a good laugh. I did as she requested and I actually did very well. The only mishap was me hitting a small newly planted tree, thank goodness it was staked but just lost a little bark that was it.

I mowed the next day and wow I cant tell you how much fun that was. I used to mow w/ my N.H. tz25 w/ a 60 in deck and it would take me 1.5 to 2 hrs. w/ the loader removed. This new ZTR took me 50 minutes and was a blast. Excellent cut so this machine in my opinion is highly recommended. I am 6' 3" and the machine has plenty of room and is very comfortable to drive.

Kubota 2620, loaded R4's, FEL, FROPS, 4FT Bush Hog box blade, 5ft Bush Hog landscape rake, Toro TimeCutter Z ZTR 5060 w/ 50" deck

He's mowing commercially with that stuff...

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.
