Hi Guys,

Getting a little old and decrepit so lightweight and easy to start sounds real good to me right now.
Add to that the 5 year warranty and I think I know what I am getting next week.
Don't need a 20" as all my stuff is fairly small so probably a 16 or maybe even a 14"

Thanks for the input.

Tom

Hey Tom, my experience with ECHO is good, as long as you understand we sacrifice power for weight, knowing this fact...... the important issue is reliability. I love that they pull easy and start with 2 or 3 pulls.

Cut down ten more trees this afternoon 10" to 20", used a 14" ECHO on the smaller stuff and my new 20" STIHL on the meatier work. I like my ECHOs a lot, they're light and easy to handle, but that STIHL has the power to cut some wood..
ahem..it is somewhat heavy though....it would be tough without the ECHOs to do the majority of the limb and small tree cutting.
Every tool I've bought was purchased to make my life easier, those brands have been winners. Not every acquisition becomes an asset.

.... Tim

Hey Irwin,

None of the trees that I have are that big so the Echo should be great.

Looking for reliability with a capital " R".

Been a long day. Weed eater starts every time with a couple of pulls but dies when I give it gas. Always starts and always dies.

Lawn tractor was working fine, starting fine. Cutting grass and it just quit.
No warning nothing. Fiddled with it and just can't get it to run now.

So, waiting for #3 to happen and why reliabiltiy is so very important.

Sounds like you have been busy.

Time for a rest.

Have a good one.

Tom
