Nope...but I'm real interested for a small garden I'm getting ready to layout...It just seems overkill to plow, disc, harrow a small garden with the same equipment you'd use for a truck garden...

My closest Cub/Toro..etc.. dealer had one of those on the show room floor forever. There was someone on eBay awhile back trying to unload a few. They had some scratches from being moved around, that was about it. They look well built and easy to work on. Just real expensive.

BCS has been around for some time. First saw them in the early 70's. Seem to recall it is a brand from Italy. Remember thinking the design was nice and workmanship looked good. Don't think I've ever saw one in an owners hands.
Practice makes perfect: After many decade of hard work and practice, it now takes almost no effort to get tired.

    Thumbs up

Friends of ours had a BCS tiller for their market garden in Virginia. They really liked it. It held up well although parts weren't cheap.

I just saw the BCS exhibit at the Northeast Organic Farming Association conference in January, and was impressed with the equipment. They come with Briggs, Honda (gas) or Yanmar diesel engines; quite a wide price range. Lots of attachments. I'd seriously consider one for a small truck farm or CSA operation. They even have a rotary plow, which would be good for breaking new fields.

    - Category 1 Implements include a Befco tiller, 6 ft Bush Hog cutter, antique Massey Ferguson 3 bottom plow and a post hole digger
    - 1986 Kubota G6200H garden tractor, bought in 2005 to maintain lawns and harvest grass clippings for mulch.
    - 2004 Ariens 1128 PRO walk-behind snow blower.

I looked at them years ago.
There was a company Mainline that i wanted Mainline rear-tine rototillers/walking tractors looks like they still may be around .
I cannot remember what it was about the BCS i was not thrilled with.

I saw somthing like or was the ransome types, they would put reins on them and use them like a team of horses

I owned one of these when it had an electric motor and was called a FLYMO...from England...they worked very well for the sloped front yard I had when stationed in PA....the downside was the long extension cord...
