Default Wright Stander Rapid height 52" Stand On ZTR

Picked up this model below, for both commerical and private use
Wright Stander Rapid height 52" Stand On ZTR

After using this particular machine, I decided I would use it mostly for personal - with some commerical visits

It saves me 50% of my mowing compared to tradional ride on machines (garden tractors). The cut is outstanding (it should be since its a commerical unit), and handles all types of grass conditions and heights better than expected. real good on hill's but requires some good manuevering...
The only complaint is the grab bar - its too narrow and causes numbness in my hands after a few hours (easily rectified with gloves)

Nice machines and used by all Commerical businesses around these parts

Duc,

You said you were going to pick up one of these. I'll bet it helps with space on the trailer. How is the ride on your back?

Cheers

Whats great about these is they are smaller than most walk behinds.
The comfort isnt bad but you are at the mercy of the terrain, but overall since its fast you are done in less time so fatigue isnt really an issue

The outfit that does the lawns at work uses Write Standers for the smaller stuff. It amazes me how FAST those things will go. They fly. Those suckers are built like tanks.

They are deceptively heavy - they weigh 750-800 lbs ! we had a tragic incident somewhat locally to me, where a landscaper was using this type of machine, ran over a cesspool, fell in and died (the machine landed on him)

Oh man that's a major concern of mine. My 50+yr/old septic tank is carbon steel and very rusty. No issues as of yet aside from the lid just kind of sits on top. I just sort of mow around it & tell the kids to keep off.

Im not expert in the cesspool world but carbon steel would concern me- I think more so than concrete or concrete blocks -

You just dont know with these things - they collapse more right after they get emptied.

Funny you mention that. We've been in this house about 4yrs. I had the septic tank pumped soon after we moved in. Not knowing any better I was standing next to the pumper guy when he was pumping the tank out. At one point he asked me to step back for that very reason! He said he's had 'old ones' collapse once he drained them. I'm going to be hating life the day I need to replace my system. It's all from 1956. That day is going to go something like this:

I really like it because you can fit more of them on or in a trailer (more compact), they are a ZTR, the cut is professional quality i.e excellent
and they are fast. I mow WOT at 8 MPH or more, with great results, one pass. Done, next yard or go grab a beer and enjoy the day -
