Default Okay what are some of your spring chore plans?

Come on cough up. Spring's almost working it's magic. The snow plows, blowers, etc. are put away or waiting to be stowed (except for the far north crowd)

Not just what you've already finished, (although that's cool too) what are the plans?

#1: Cut down a huge dead and rotting willow before it falls on a passing car. This will be interesting.. I'll be careful

#2: Get more experience with the skid steer, ie: move lots of horse poo

#3: Cut down a few dozen trees to open up more riding ring area..(there's more jobs connected to that- make brush piles - burn brush piles..dig up stumps.

#4: Remove organic matter from a 60'x80' area (not horse ring area) and put down gravel, then powdered stone so I can store implements, the IH 2424, the horse trailer and the boat away from the work shop.

#5: Back to the horse ring area ... with soon to be bought boxblade, popping rocks and roots.

#6: Dig out the paddock area, grade and spread sand.

    Then summer chores.

I got big plans, little energy, and no money, but I continue to pursue the "Noble Project" of rehabilitating/rejuvenating/naturalizing our property to bring back more native animal and plant species. The "Noble Project" is on semi-hold pattern until I/we return from a monthlong doctor recommended "rehabilitative/recuperative experience" in FL (Everyone is still trying to figure out what is making/keeping me sick .). I will till the garden area, address some of the ice and windfall tree damage, and hopefully dig out some holes for the shrubs and trees that I will hopefully be planting when I/we get back. Jay

Im using my crew for half days to help me get caught up with chores on the outside. We work half day at my location then roll to a local customer

Have plans to build a new shop building but can't do anything until the rainy season is over.
Practice makes perfect: After many decade of hard work and practice, it now takes almost no effort to get tired.

Ask my wife. She has a long list of things I should be working on, and whatever I'm doing it's not done soon enough for her.

Hahaha, thanks for the smile. Can I identify with that or what. The listing of chores came about because she didn't think I had her wants in mind. See #2, #3, #5 and #6.( well #2 is mine also )
