Default Side wall checking

Wile doing spring clean up and lube I noticed the sidewalls on the front tires. One has cracks all the way around, and the other has started to do the same thing. Any one ever seen this before on new tires. These tires are less than a year old with less that 50 hours on the machine.

That's what I figured. I know I would have heard something from you before if this was happening. This is the second problem with these tires. I'm starting to wonder if there was a bad batch of rubber or something. Gonna go see the dealer on Friday.

I've certainly had my share of tire problems with punctures, cuts/splits, general wear and "chunking"... but nothing like this. No sidewall issues. I do store inside, however, and they don't get any winter use. Plus since they are industrials, they probably flex a little less than your aggies.

None of those things have happened Paul. I had a problem with a tire last year, it developed splits between the treads. Had something to do with, either a casting or material problem. Titan replaced the tire. I'm wondering if this has to do with the same problem.

Well...as the Doctor used to say...
You had it before?...Well, you have it again...

It sure seems like your dealership will be REAL THRILLED to see your tractor's tires again...

Oh yea. They know that it's one of two things when I walk thru the door. Filters or warranty items. I'll stop in on Friday and show them the pictures. Last time they sent the pictures to Titan and they sent a new tire up to the dealer. Hopefully this one goes as easy as the last time.

Come on Doug. You ain't talking to Bill6 here. You know that my motto is the dirtier the better. In fact I had to wipe the mud off to see the tire size.
