    Default Recomend a SideXSide UTV (Gator,Kubota,Kawasaki, Polaris,EZ-Go)

My wife and I have been looking around and would like to get advice from the Group. We are interested in a 4 wheel side by side UTV with dump bed and trailer towing ability. We have considered everything from a Golf cart up to a full blown 6x utility vehicle. Our area would not require 4 wheel drive but it would be a plus. Another plus would be hyd or electric dump bed with min 500# payload capacity. Gas or Diesal is ok but I am sure Gas would be cheaper to buy up front.

Please let us know what you think and what you know. First hand owners experience would be great.

    Thanks in advance

all depends on how much $$$$$$$ you would like to spend. i have used a Kubota from time to time and i cant complain. i thought it handled well and had plenty of power, dident bounce you around much. but i do have 2 golf carts and for the price you cant beet them i have built a bed on the back of one and have put more then 500# in it as far as a dumd bed i believe i have seen a aftermarket one for the golf carts. Good luck with your shopping...

I'm still riding Honda ATV's, But may have to buy a side-by-side due to my bad wrist.

If I buy one.. It will be a Honda Big Red.. I have a couple friends that have one, and they are nice!

I also like the Polaris Ranger 6X6... I think the Polaris Ranger's ride better than the Honda Big Reds, and I like the 6 wheels!

And you won't for a while..
Apparently they have had several reworks at the factory...drive belts being shredded is the latest fiasco...2 years and counting since they were announced in the USofA...

An alt you may want to consider is one of the Japanese mini-trucks. Most auto mfgrs make them and they can be had for not too much $$$. Some come with AC, tilt beds, 4x4 dump boxes. Closed cab can be nice when the weather isn't want you'd like.
