Never have I guess. I got the tractor in June and never needed them til a month ago I get ready for snow and ummm, lights don't work.
WTF?
I play with all the fuses (all good), relay's (all good)
WTF?
Fine, whatever, deal with it. Well, this month has been no snow so I sent the tractor up to the dealer to get some maintenance done and some other warranty work and said "hey, these lights don't work"
So, I go pick it up today and ask "what was the deal with the lights?"
Oh, you have to turn on the regular headlights first, then they work fine.

RTFM for me I suppose

normally, yeah I am in bed with the sun. But not for snow removal
But really for snow removal you end up getting good night sight. In the truck I usually turn the headlights off after I get to a site and just work off the parking lights. (saves the battery, not an issue in a tractor with a plow)
Yeah, I honestly figured they just hadn't been hooked up at the dealer where I bought it (different one), so it's under warranty, no big deal.
Still pretty funny though.  |
