I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

Wise guy!!!

And BTW... I notice that Berkshire Hathaway is down from its peak almost as much as my own pitiful 401(k). Your old friend Warren must not be a very happy camper right about now. Kinda like moi.

There are a lot ofout there, but there are still and who are profiting from and/or exploiting the . History has a way of repeating itself. The French Revolution had a unique and effective method for dealing with 's and's. Jay

All it take is time and somewhat hard times for some to acknowledge these kind of places really weren't offering stuff a lot better than the competition. Just charging more for the brand.

Well, that my take on it even though I'm likely the lone ranger on these kind of businesses.
Ah' brother Mickey.
Although I enjoy a good cup of coffee, I'm not a frequenter of any happening hot spots , and like you Mickey, I have not entered any of the three you mentioned.
I set my coffee maker the night before, and in the morning, after I feed the cats ( the wife's cats, but I love all God's creatures, even the rat, it makes a fine medical test animal ) I'll pour fresh brewed coffee and enjoy my one (or rarely two) cups a day. I also rarely eat out, and never (so far) at Ruby Tuesdays, Arby's, or that famous Italian place (whats the name?) I'll go to a fine family owned place with atmosphere. No franchise restaurant frequenter am I. Just a personal quirk of mine, no ill meant toward those that enjoy them.

To be honest I have been at DD's but only when I'm on the road and need to stay awake, purely a safety precaution for the other folks also on the road.

.... Tim
