Points: 0 | with all kidding aside, I ran for many different positions, filled them, and would never go back to it again,.. I've been more than turned off by local politics and the corrupt. I didn't do everything right as people expected me to vote, didn't go out of my way to do things wrong either, lost 6 old friends, gained 6 new ones at the same time, and never once got involved in the many "back room, cigar smoking" private meetings that went on.. Being a selectman of a town in not something easy to do or complete.. It would have been a hundred times easier and probably would have been more rewarding if the odds were more even.,. To run as a republican, one of only 16 registered in the town verses 1100 democrats will make an old man of you.. believe me when I say this.. | "this morning I woke up with nothing to do, it is now afternoon and I have over half of it done".
Digging in hard clay is more relaxing to a worm than going fishing.. | |

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

Palin must have just edged her out of McCain's camp.... | I am still assembling my administration & cabinet!
Beside the old Jayster for Secretary of Health and Human Services and the old Paulster for Director of National Intelligence... I think I'm going with... - Mickey for Secretary of State (with Mark/Ohio as Undersecretary of State)
- Kenny for White House Chief of Staff
- The Ducster for Secretary of Commerce
- The Gunmaker for Secretary of the Interior
- The Lone Cowboy for Secretary of Transportation
- LarryRB for both Secretary of Homeland Security and Secretary of Veteran's Affairs
- The crazy old Edster for Secretary of Agriculture
- Timster (Irwin) for Secretary of Labor
- Paulster (yes, again!) for Secretary of the Treasury
- Sam Walton for both Secretary of Energy and Secretary of Housing and Urban Development
- The Deanster for Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency
- Mighty Mouse for Secretary of Defense
- Fredster for Commissioner of the Social Security Administration... and,
- Chris2520 for Director of the National Drug Control Policy!!!

I have not picked a VP yet. Can't decide between David Bassler (for his fearless & totally amazing L39 digging skills) and Theweldor (for his rather obvious & critically helpful skillset)!!!
