I found a W.T. Shook who owned a general merchandise store in Belmont, Mississippi. Could that be your man?

Have an old meat fork that I'm trying to find some info on. Fork is about 14" long, looks hand forged and on back side has W.T. Shook stamped on it.
Have dona an internet search without any luck. My guess is it goes back to turn of the century, 1900.
Any help including a pointer to some other possible info source would be appreciated.

Sure could be Doug. Time period seems about right. Thanks for finding these links. On Google I got zero hits for the name.
Think I'll do some checking and see if I can contact someone that may have additional info. Thanks for the links and your effort to provide an answer.
