Default Why can't anyone build a decent grease gun?

    Two more grease guns dead.

That battery powered one bites the dust after about a year. (seals are gun, grese on the wrong side fo the seal, yuck)

Have a $20 pistol grip one in the truck (for big jobs, on site greasing) and started using it to do the 25 hour greasing and the stupid little zirk holder won't let go. Took a vise grip to get it off.

    ugh.

Just paid way too much money for a Snap On one (online), see if that holds up.

    How hard can it be?

Try a Lincoln 1401 "Powerluber" professional model, 14.4V. I bought 1 of them nearly 2 years ago. It's pumped 22 cases (22X12 tubes) so far with not the first complaint. I bought mine on sale and with a rebate. (paid $150) Not sure what they retail for now though.

Junk is right. Go with the latest and greatest Lincoln 14.4 Volt. See if you can find the deal on eBay (if it still exists) with 2 batteries and both AC and DC chargers included.

Even the Lone Cowboy Product Testing Company (mentioned earlier) would have a hard time dissin' this nifty product!
