Default McCain searching for the bottom

... but he keeps finding new lows:

I used to cite John McCain as one of the Republicans I respected. He seemed to be above this kind of crap. It looks like when things get tough, this guy is willing to do a 180 on every principle that made him such a repected figure in American politics. So much for the "clean campaign" he promised.

No one can say for sure who will win in November, but IF he loses, it'll be very sad to see a guy who built such a good reputation over his career completely throw everything he stood for away in persuit of the presidency.

It's truly sad to see him doing this to himself.

Seems every four years I feel my stomach twist way too often. Like opening the door to a public bathroom in third world country.

It's not just one party. The disturbing thing is those willing to achieve the lowest marks in etiquette win elections. Have we, the Armerican voters, developed a taste for manure.

The closer to the election we get the more mud that is going to be flying, from both sides. While this seems to be mud, did Castro in fact make the statement attributed to him. If he in fact did say this, voters will have to decide for themselves how much weight it should carry about who to either vote for or against.

Question, is something like this MUD because it puts a candidate in bad light, especially if true?

if anything it reflects more on the currents administration poor policy towards Cuba and Venezuela - making those two the best of friends and making them out to be more than what they really are.

its just anothor stupid thing that back fires and now make Mccain look petty and childish, when he should be defining himself as better than the current admin and past childish endeavors from the past elections.

I've been saying for years that the good ones don't even run. And the way everything has been going, I have to wonder if there are any good ones left up there at all. My FIL used to say "There ain't nothin' wrong in Washington that dropping the BOMB on them wouldn't cure!" Only trouble is the electorate would send more of the same ilk back, imo!!

I have to agree with Paris Hilton on one thing - nothing is going to ever get off dead center unless our elected representatives start taking the best from both sides and start something moving. I think this legislature has done less than any I've ever seen.

Rant off

Fred

The difference between a whore and a politician...Is that the whore delivers on their promise...

At least that is what I have been told...
