Good backhoe loaders are built to take a drubbing. These double-duty machines need to be designed to withstand construction’s two toughest jobs — digging and loading. That’s exactly what Kubota Tractor Corp. had in mind when it created its latest backhoe loader — the L39. Not all compact backhoe loaders are created equally and not all of them incorporate an integral mainframe like Kubota’s machine mongrel. And without an integral main frame, the tractor may not withstand the rigors of heavy-duty or high-cycle applications. To put it simply, an integral mainframe reduces downtime and operating costs for one of industry’s hardest working pieces of equipment.
This rugged performer also provides exceptional versatility with a Category I, three-point hitch and independent PTO capabilities. Powered by Kubota’s 39-hp diesel engine, the operator will experience maximum power and high torque rise, even under heavy loads or at low speeds. This diesel engine delivers cleaner emissions and rates at 30.5 PTO hp. The L39’s performance-matched loader provides power and productivity, delivering 3,560 lbs of breakout force, 2,200 lbs of lift capacity and 9 ft, 6 in. of lift height. The new curved backhoe boom reaches a maximum 10-ft dig depth with a
