I think there are less drunk drivers then there use to be ( when I was drinking and driving many years ago, and met a police officer back then I'd get asked if I was okay to drive home, no ticket, no warning, haven't tried it for many years, but gather the treatment would be very different today) but there are now many more people driving, soo my advice would be to get where you're going and stay there, or stay home...

No, go have a blast, really enjoy yourself, I'll stay home for you. Just be careful. Thanks Duc enjoy "out of town".

Yes, hope you all have an enjoyable 4th. Also hope each of us will take a little time today to give thought to what sacrificed so many have made to make our country possible.

Going to head up to the kids today. This evening heading closer to down town to watch the Vancouver fireworks display. Reported to the the largest this side of the big muddy. A lot of people take to their boats and watch the entertainment from the river, The Columbia.

Tomorrow the boys and a few other are coming over and we're headed for the Drags. Big races this weekend and tomorrow the TV show, PINKS, is taping an episode.

Also this weekend, there is a large Civil War reenactment not far from here. Reported to be 1000 participants. This is a family affair and camps will be open to the general public.

Again, have an enjoyable weekend.

Sounds like a great idea, but...I had to work today. One of the guns I'm making at the shop is being given away by the NRA at the Blackpowder National Championship as the Grand Prize, and I had wrap up a few of the last minute details.
