Default Drill DR - anyone got and use one??

    Hi All,

Anyone on here got a Drill DR? If so, what model? Have tons of bits, and would like to reuse them.
    Thanks,

    Will

Got one, love it. Don't know the model but about 10 years ago it was around a hundred. A company I used to work for handed out cobalt drill bits like they were in a penny candy dish. I never used the same bit twice, just threw them in a drawer of my tool box and got a new one. After I left, the wife got me a drill dr for Christmas. I sat there for two nights for over 4 hours a night and didn't sharpen half of them. It took a little time to figure the tricks of working it but once I got the hang of it, the bits were sharp as new. Definately recommend it.

I have the 'Tradesman 500', and haven't bought a drill bit since the Mrs. gave it to me!

With just a little practice, anyone can learn to sharpen drill bits with a wheel grinder/sharpener. I do a lot of wood chisels, ect, so it's worth my while to keep a good sharpening station. (Dayton grinder w/several different wheels)

I've got the 750 (3/4 inch) and love it. Turned a pile of dull and broken bits into useful tools again. Honestly...... i should have bought one ten years sooner !

Bought one about seven years ago....I think it is the 750. I carry it in my work van and have an inverter that I run my Dewalt battery chargers off of. I have used the Drill Dr. many many times. I love it and have never been sorry I bought it. I can run it off of my inverter and have sharpened many a drill bit on location at a customers home.

I have the 750. Does a good job for me. A friend of mine has a 750 and he ordered a "left handed" bit holder from Drill Doctor to sharpen his left handed bits (extraction bits). He's satisfied too.
