3"+ rain (so far) still raining HARD and a fair amount of wind. We're under a tornado warning right now. It ain't over yet.

Yes it's possible.... My wife's sisters husbands kill me just talking to them.... I don't even claim them as brother-IN-laws.... All they want from me is a free tractor to use.And that doesn't work.

It's been a few years since we went to the Derby..... I haven't been back since I quit drinking.

Looks like the worst is past now. We had the hardest downpour I've ever seen while ago. Still raining, just not so hard.

The contractor I worked for did the remodel of Churchill Downs. 2 years ago, we were at the Derby, and if I have my way, that'll be the last one for me. I'm not a drinker, and I'm DEFINATELY not one to bet on horses. That sorta limits the fun at the Downs....

2 of the wife's sisters are on the verge of a fistfight over something that happened 35 years ago

1 BIL is ALWAYS drunk. At functions like yesterdays party, he just gets DRUNKER

2BIL's know EVERYTHING. They'll gladly tell you they do.

A nephew thinks he's a rock star. He also tries to perpetuate a stereotype that MOST Kentuckians would just as soon not hear about. He comes to family functions to pick up women.....

BIL that does the grilling likes everything so well done you can write on concrete with the burgers. (ie burnt beyond recognition)

A niece always wants to argue about how we park. (She wants to park closest to the house, but NOT be blocked in. She needs to be ready to leave in a hurry in case Hollywood calls)

It's a wonder my wife turned out as normal as she did.....

I used to say that I had a few inlaws and a whole buch of outlaws. My daughter said it best, after her Grandmother and three favorite uncles died the same year - "All the good ones died!"
