Twister time The PNW isn't quite in tornado alley but a little before noon today a twister hit Vancouver Wa. From the news they believe it may have been a F2 and possibly have been an F3 in a few areas. Last big twister that hit Vancouver was 72. All the news giving a lot of coverage but think it was due more to unusual nature than damage done. As of late this afternoon, no reported injuries. Trees up-rooted and many snapped in-two. Lots of damage to buildings but didn't see any that were totally destroyed.
Both my boys live in Vancouver but nether lived in the path of destruction.
We've more than made up for the rain shortage of last summer. Water standing everywhere in low areas and winter streams are overflowing. Here's one person ready for spring. Do I hear an amen?!

John Deere 2520 , R4's , 200CX loader with 61 inch bucket and JD Tooth Bar. And Markham 7 tooth. Tooth bar. 46 Backhoe with 16 inch bucket. with Custom made Street Flip pads off a 448 hoe. Foward work lights. Dual rear work lights. Heavy duty Alternator. I-Match , Ballast Box , Frontier BB2060 box blade , Frontier pallet Forks , JD 3 point reciever hitch. and soon A lot more..and for grass cutting , John Deere GX 255 with 48 inch deck.
Thanks Chris. Found out this AM my sister's boy that also lives in Vancouver lives within 2 blocks of where the twister touched down. Neither of my boys were real close to places where it touched down.
Still haven't heard of anyone being injured which is good.
Did this make the national news? Getting a tornado in this area is so rare we can get news overload but never know if it is something big enough to make the national news.
