Points: 69 | New Holland L180 series -looking for feedback Starting to look at the mid size skid steer line, and glanced over the new Holland L180 series which seems to have great specifications (need to handle pallets), load up a tri-axle truck, etc...initial quote was $28 -29k
I was wondering if anybody has any experience with New Holland.
I will be looking at Deere and others ASAP as well..

Points: 0 | Always liked New Holland SS's. Run them for years in the 90's and tried out a L150 earlier this year.
NH's seem to be longer than other ones, it makes them ride a LOT better.
I think their operator platforms are comfortable and they have good hydralics and are powerful
The L180 is quite a bit bigger than the L175, if you can deal with the smaller capacity, it will go quite a bit more places. | Brian H

Points: 69 | Thanks Brian that is great feedback - The basic across the board criteria is to be able to handle pallets 2500 to 2900 lbs best guess, and if the size or model cant then, I cant consider it. I will give more specifics or even a basic review if im able to really test out some models. of course being nimble is a plus as well, always a trade off I suppose... | | | |

Points: 0 | yeah, you need the 180 then to handle that kind of weight.
it basically sticks you in a 6' wide SS.
But again, i really do like the NH skid steers, go try some over bumpy ground, and you'll see. | Brian H
