I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

They do work but are alittle light duty and very expensive. Small size can be desireable or a curse.

Seems to be designed for those "ultra small" jobs , but a cute little bugger- it looks a lot smaller than my old Ford 1100. Jay one more time.

I'm not sure I'm very pleased about the location of the exhaust pipe relative to the operator's nose (and eyes & ears as well!). I hope what's shown is a dummy pipe for show only!

But I sure could save a ton of gas money hauling that little monster around in lieu of the Mahindra!

Mini crawlers have been around for many yrs going back to almost the beginning of crawler design.

Remember back in the 50's & 60's you could find ads in the back of such publication as Popular Science for them. Thinking back it may have even been Struck. They have been around for many yrs.

Here is a couple pics of mini crawlers.

I question the placement of the exhaust pipe as well. Aren't they gas powered? Back in the "good old days" when I saw those ads in the back of Popular Science I always thought that they were kits. Jay one more time.

PS: Maybe I will download their site information and leave it laying around to keep SWMBO "on her toes". She is getting worried about the way I look at bulldozers, skidsteer type equipment, and mini-excavators recently.

I gotta tell you Jay... although I am aggressively shopping for a mini-ex, possibly a tracked skidsteer or, alternatively, a full-size backhoe... there is something about a bulldozer that has great draw and appeal to me. Wouldn't have to be that big either... just a D3 or D4.

It's actually a darn good thing that I have no easy or cheap way to move one!

Jay, think you are correct about the mini crawlers being kits.

Doug, what wrong with the pic I posted of the D8 kitty? That shouldn't be too large for ya.
