Points: 0 | Toro Was looking for a lawnmower for Mom this summer, she'd just recovered from hip surgery and a fractured wrist. I was looking for something unique, that would allow her walk at her pace, and be light on the wrist. What I found was a self-propelled walk behind, which has the propulsion system mounted in the handle. As you walk behind the mower, holding onto the handle, the forward pressure on the handle engages the propulsion system, and only travels as fast as you move behind it. It also has an electric start system so that all you have to do is turn the key. I think TORO hit the mark with this unit, really nice!

Points: 69 | Toro Self propelled They make fantastic commericial push mowers and no doubt that carries over to the residential line. I have a 21" commericial unit, cut real nice and can run all day and nigh without breaking a sweat |

Points: 0 | Honda HRM19 Hey folks,
Best mower I ever borrowed, bought, used, was a Honda 19" rotary rear bagger. Usually always passes the Sara Johnson test. (for those that remember 1 pull start) I have had that mower over 16 years now and it's still going strong. Aluminum deck for easy handling. Folding handles for easy storage/hauling. Two speed adjustable w/ safety clutch. I most like the fact the ground powered wheels are in the rear. It's great for hills.

Unless this is some sort of PT...you might be better served finding a neighborhood kid to do the mowing...just a thought...
And if you are really dead-set on getting a mower, my DAD will sell you his, he was born in '21 and still races sailboats, but has given up yardwork...

Points: 0 | Toro has a 98.8% satisfaction rate with the personal pace mowers. I recomend the Super recycler over the recycler. The regular recycler was made for the HomeDepot customer. Low quality but has a Brand Name, Horse Power and cutting width while the Super Recycler is built better, Sold by the dealers, better warranty (5YRS), Backed by the dealers, Will last longer ( Toro Tells us 2.5 times longer but I think it's more like 3.5 and is easier to use.
