Default Need a trailer for my 2305???

I have had my 2305 for just over a year. Since the day I got it a trailer has been needed. Looking for something to move the tractor a few times per year. My main problem is I now have a Triton trailer that I had custom set up for watercraft. It held my two stand up Superjets and my wifes Seadoo plus 8 5.5 gallon race jugs and tools. The max trailer weight is 2200lb. With the trailer counting for 400lb or so. So that gives me 1800lb to use if I strip off the custom gas racks and tool box. Then extend the deck to full size 8ft 3in x 10ft.

The 2305 is around 1200lb and the FEL might be 600lb??? That would max me out on the weight. Can I just add another axel or sell my trailer and get a new one. The watercraft are all long gone so I do not use the trailer much. Any help would be great.

Do you know what your weak link is for trailer load rating? Tires, wheels, bearings, axles, springs, etc?

If you knew, it might not be too hard to bump up the capacity a couple hundred lbs and suit your needs.

On the other hand the value of the trailer as it is may be adequate to swap for a more appropreate trailer design for transporting the tractor.

Default Did you load your tires?

Approx. Ship Wgt, lb. (kg) Open; Cab1450 lbs (658 kg)
Bucket weight, lb. (kg)154 (70)

Make sure the trailer dealer didn't substandard your tires...as some are apt to do...

Triton Trailers, makers of steel and Aluminum enclosed, covered and open trailers for ATV, PWC, Snowmobile, Motorcycle, Pontoon, tractor, landscaping, lawn and garden, golf cart, Jet Ski and general utility.

Which one is yours?

I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

I think you will feel much safer with a new trailer, you know you need to sell that one...
Besides needing more weight capacity, you will need a longer trailer to be able to balance the tractor on it to have optimum tongue weight. If you are using your FEL you will need to take ballast also, that adds to the weight and the length.

MINIMUM Size I think you need is a 16' long, 7k weight capacity, double axle, with electric brakes on at least one axle to be considered safe. I don't want to hear about you or your equipment getting hurt.

FEL, MMM, FEL Forks (homemade),I-Match, Ballast Box, #380 plow (modified to fit) Markham LD-48 Grapple, and lots of other STUFF.
