Default opps, hauling poop early in the morning

Rush off today to Greeley (about 35 miles away) to do some loads of manure hauling for a customer. Get there, even after 4 months the renter STILL hasn't cleaned up the poop since July when we were there last, but there's enough left from then for 2 loads. (although I was hoping for 3 or 4 loads).
So, since we're then going to another manure job later, we brought two trucks. One with the dump trailer, one with the flatbed to haul the tractor. Typically though, I haul the tractor in the dump trailer.

Anyway, get the tractor unloaded and start loading poop. Get a good solid 13 yards in and tarp it off and go drive to my dump site. Get to the dump site, start taking the tarp off and notice ummm that's my chain hanging there. Buried in 3 feet of ****. oppps I wonder where the boomer went?

Dug out the chain, never did find the boomer. Oh well, guess they'll find it when they spread it.

around here there is money in the horse poop collection - its mixed in at my wholesale pickup who mixes it in with the top soil mixtures. If I show up with Poop, I get free soil or mulch. It balances out for me when I have it, but its not always easy to get. A lot of folks use it for gardens and such as well

I've got a decent amount of old horse poop in a couple of areas of my property. Need to collect it to mix it in with new top soil for some of the grassy areas around the house. It's just the right amount and age - not too much that it's nasty & smelly, but just enough to give me a decent amount of soil ammendment that's not too hot.
