I used to own an ant farm but had to give it up. I couldn't find tractors small enough to fit it.

Default

well update
After driving about 150 miles today (yes, really), I get gas.
$311 later I touch the hubs
the right rear is still much hotter than the rest.

WTF?

i call the trailer fixing place, they say bring it in.
The guy looks at it and can't find anything, but thinks the tire might be rubbing on a bolt.
????
What bolt, I ask him to show me. he shows me, i crawl underneath (got a lot more respect after that) and look and look again and say "I think this bolt is broken"
I touch it and it falls out

it is broken

It's the bolt that holds the springs together (spring leaf suspension) between the two tires. He looks further and it looks like the tire is rubbing on the frame (probably because this bolt is broken)

Turns out it's got a grease fitting on it (I've NEVER seen one and there's no notification to grease it, WTF would check that?) and guess where it broke? right at the little hole where the grease comes out.
They replaced that bolt with another good one (no grease) and greased the other one.
hopefully that's it.

bizzare though.
