Default Yanmar F200 (or AF200) questions

Does anyone have any information on a Yanmar F200 tractor? I found a used one, but haven't been able to find out much about this tractor. Any info, including parts availability, would be appreciated. (Note: for photo & info, ๆ—pŒ^ƒgƒ‰ƒNƒ^[AF200ƒXƒyƒVƒƒƒ‹ƒVƒŠ[ƒY

Welcome to Machine Underground j-man!

Sorry,

I have absolutely no information on the AF 200 model Yanmar. About all I can say is it's the series models built after the F which was manufactured from '83 to '92...so the AF models are all 1993 and newer. A real plus, like the F & FX series, as the newer models will come with a ROPS, all the safety switches and PTO guard. I believe the AF series at, or under 24 PTO HP also use the 3TNE engine, very popular and durable 3 cylinder.

If the sellor offers this model (and other AF, F AND YM's), has his own service department...then he should also stock the minimum of maintenance items and good access to future 'hard parts'. If the sellor is private party, it will be up to you to locate gray market dealers that can locate parts for future needs.

Good luck and keep us informed.

Mark

Another BIG welcome to MU jman.

Mark is our resident expert on Yanmars. Best I can do is answer some question regarding the F series.

I found a translator to look this spec over (just kidding) it sure looks like it has some great turning ability

BTW - welcome to the M.U ! let us know how you make out on this machine? If you decide to pass, Im sure you can located a domestic yanmar version of your liking, maybe even a Deere relative for a decent price with great support.
